***Some species have the word “moss” in their
common names but they are NOT really mosses although they may
resemble them in some way:
ball moss & spanish moss are types of flowering plants
reindeer mosses are kinds of lichen
clubmosses are relative of ferns (please consider sharing these with the Ferns & Fern Allies mission)
