Bird nest

Description:

This nest was found on the ground after it had blown out of a tree. It looks to be nearly completed and has bits of trash woven into it. My favorite part of the nest is the addition of a spider egg sac (shown in photo #2). It looks to be from one of the Argiope species; most likely from Argiope aurantia.

Notes:

I placed the nest in the shrub for photographs.
