Coachwhip

Masticophis flagellum testaceus

Description:

Long and skinny tan snake. He was about to shed, that's why his eyes are solid white. That's also why he just sat on this table and didn't move!

Habitat:

A friend found him in the grass at a park, and called me to come see what it was. When I pulled up, it was just laying on the table.

Notes:

It was drooling some and wasn't moving and we were worried about it, so my friend took it home to monitor it. It shed 2 days later and perked up and was acting like normal so she went back and released it in the park.

NICE! Our local Coachwhips are closer to all white, than tan. (Marble Falls TX.)
