Robin's Nest

Turdus migratorius nest

Description:

This fresh nest belongs to a Robin pair and is made of straw and lined with fresh mud inside.. Still wet since its still under construction.

Habitat:

This fresh nest was being built on a steel beam at the NYPL library I'm building but unfortunately I had to remove it since it would be impossible for the birds to come and go freely since we are now enclosing the building. Thankfully, there were no eggs yet and the pair will find another site to build very quick.
