Common Blue

Polyommatus icarus

Description:

This pair was found about a 10 minute walk south of the location of the previous pair, so these certainly live up to their name here.
The male in the first 3 pictures appears much duller than the one in the previous spotting. The female only stayed still for one picture.
The male in pics 5 & 6 was a further 10 minutes south, near the southern extremity of the headland, and is much more worn than the first one.

Habitat:

Rocky headland in an old fort.
