Description:

Cap, pores, and stem yellow. Stem was reticulate. Pores bruised slightly when marked. Cap was approximately 2-3 inches.

Habitat:

Spotted growing on the ground in a mixed forest. Mycorrhizal with hardwoods and widely distributed in eastern North America.
