Description:

This moth is medium sized and measures about 2" across. this could be a pachylia darceta...Sphinx Moth. I am not sure.

Habitat:

Tropical dry forest in NW Costa Rica 7 weeks into the rainy season.

Perhaps a type of sack bearer moth. I don't think it could be Pachiylia darceta.
