Little Mask Philenora

Description:

A small furry moth with a wing span of about 20 mm. The white wings had a broad band of graded brown colouring outlined by jagged brown. Within the band was a white-edged spot of brown. There were dark brown patches in the submarginal area. The basal area of the wings were a dark brown. Legs were a pale yellow. Antennae were held under wings.

Habitat:

Spotted near a sports field in a suburban area.
