Tiger Moth

Amata annulata

Habitat:

This was another nocturnal capture by a light on a driveway near a garden. The moth was extremely active and nervous and would not sit at all. It may have been disturbed from its night perch and needed a light to land at. This is normally a day flying moth

Notes:

Thanks to Mark Ridgeway and bayucca for the identification
