Bent-line Carpet

Costaconvexa centrostrigaria

Description:

Geometrid moth with distinct banding and spots. Apparently this species is sexually dimorphic (males and females look different).

Habitat:

Suburban backyard (on the house).

Notes:

This little moth was very high on the siding. My husband was gracious enough to allow me to sit on his shoulders to take the photo!
