Microlinyphia mandibulata punctata

Description:

Small spider only 4 mm long that was on a horizontal sheet web in the grass. There are small white spots on the abdomen.

Habitat:

Grassy hill along trail at Lake Hodges. This subspecies is found "West of the Continental Divide, from British Columbia to California." Most likely it is found in Baja California as well.
