White-bellied Sea Eagle

Haliaeetus leucogaster

Description:

The generally hunt over the sea and nest in tree tops close to the coast but a pair here are rearing their young far from the sea. Some times the parents disappear all day so probably make a round trip to the ocean, gliding all the way there and soaring back. They then fish over the nearby lake in the evening.
Pic 6 was taken through binoculars.

Habitat:

Woods by mountain lake, far from the sea.
