Description:

About 24mm long. Orange prolegs. Black front tufts. Pale cream hairs. Black with orange spots on body. Approximately 30 found on the single plant which was about 3 metres tall and 2 metres wide.

Habitat:

Many creatures seen on a bush at the local supermarket. Either hakea or grevillea.

Notes:

Also called 'Painted Apple moth' among other common names. Females are wingless. Pupae form a large, loose silk cocoon.
