Description:

The Green-Crowned Brilliant Hummingbird is a larger member of the hummingbird family. This spotting was made south of the Poas Volcano in the Costa Rican rain forest. It exhibits iridescent green and blue markings.

Habitat:

Costa Rican rainforest, heavily wooded and wet.
