15 Snow Geese shown in the adult white phase and immature. Length: 24-30 inches. White bird with black wing tips that look like the tail feathers (white phase); dark body with white head and neck (blue phase). Immature: darker neck and head with darker feathers overall except belly.

In the past scientists thought the blue and white phases were a different species.
