Description:

An attractive geometrid moth with shimmering fawn coloured wings. When at rest, the moths wings are held flat exhibiting a bat-wing shaped dark band across the wings. Three thin black lines break this band into two parts. A smudged jagged brown marking is seen across the wings in the submarginal area.

Habitat:

Spotted under bright lights near a sports field ( school grounds)

Notes:

This moth looks very like http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/449... with slight differences. It was initially labelled as D.singularis but that was incorrect. Species ID not known as yet. Family: Geometridae Subfamily: Ennominae
