Carolina Anole

Anolis carolinensis

Description:

This one looked like it was still shedding its tail skin. I was moving around some small fallen branches to see if I could scare up a skink or a lizard, and this one and a brown anole both popped up from the debris.

Habitat:

Sandy pine and oak forest
