Mushroom Cluster

Description:

In the Pine-Oak litter of a small abandoned park there were a couple of these big clusters of really large mushrooms, the biggest were up to 15 cm in diameter. All were growing close together and trying surmount each other in height. They were uniformly brown and shiny with faint lighter patterns on the upper crown at close examination. The underside is pictured in the 3rd photograph and doesn't look like pictures of the Bovine Bolete.

Habitat:

Semi-rural residential area, San Cristobal de Las Casas, Chiapas, Mexico, 2,200 meters.
