Description:

Just after sundown a wasp is attacking a small group of leaf beetle larvae, presumably to parasitise them.

Habitat:

Suburban eucalyptus.

Notes:

.... I also like the little larva head peeking over the cut leaf - probably munching away totally unaware of what's happening on the other side...

The wasp flew off by itself Alice. I think that might be what it does... lays and leaves. Yet to research it - maybe martinl will comment.
