Black-necked swan

Description:

As its name pragmatically states, the black-necked and white bodied swan is easily recognized for these two features that are present in both females and males. They can be seen in fresh and salty water and it is generally in water as its feet are well adapted to this and not to walking on soil. They eat algae and invertebrates.

Habitat:

It is native to Southamerica and it can be mainly seen in Chile, Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay.
