Turkey Tail

Trametes versicolor

Description:

Turkey Tail gets its name from the fact that it sort of resembles a turkey's tail. The caps are bracket-shaped, thin, velvety, and had concentric zones of blue, white, and orange. The pores were dingy white colored.

Habitat:

Growing on a dead tree in a deciduous forest.
