Tan Jumping Spider with prey

Description:

This large female Jumper seems to have captured a smaller spider for lunch. Tan Jumping Spiders are larger sized jumping spiders, they are overall tan with darker coloration on the legs and abdomen. Tan markings on abdomen are chevron shaped. They are fairly common in suburban areas.

Habitat:

Man-made structure within temperate forest. Pocahontas State Park, Virginia.
