Multi-spotted Darner - ♀

Austroaeschna multipunctata

Description:

A very dark dragonfly with multiple pale markings in a distinctive pattern. The synthorax had a pair of cream markings on either side. The anal segment is short (female)

Habitat:

Spotted in a nature reserve in a range of hills, South of Victoria, near a stream. Common throughout Victoria and southern half of New South Wales

Notes:
