Anthopleura xanthogrammica
These were very plentiful in the tide pools and even more vibrant in person than in the pictures. They ranged from a pale lime green to this darker green with some purplish in the tentacles.

Thanks for the nice comments everyone! And that is interesting Neil. I have seen many anemones but I am fairly certain I have not had the good fortune to see the eggs. Hoping to see them now that you've pointed it out though!
These are fascinating creatures, and that last photo is really quite amazing. An awesome spotting, Machi, so best wishes for your nomination. Here's something to look for when spotting anemones - the eggs. I had no idea until I took these photos - https://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/35... but now I know what to look for.....
WOW!! These are AMAZING!!
The last photo looks like blown glass!!
Love the purple tinges on the tentacles. Lovely spotting Machi.
Fascinating and beautiful spotting Masumi
Thank you Dawn and thank you Ashley for the nomination!
Your spotting has been nominated for the Spotting of the Week. The winner will be chosen by the Project Noah Rangers based on a combination of factors including: uniqueness of the shot, status of the organism (for example, rare or endangered), quality of the information provided in the habitat and description sections. There is a subjective element, of course; the spotting with the highest number of Ranger votes is chosen. Congratulations on being nominated!
This is a cool find!
Thanks Hema :)
Great series. The anemones are so lovely!
