Inonotus dryadeus
Small, golden-brown bracket fungus with velvety cap that oozes amber droplets. Inonotus dryadeus is primarily associated with oak trees (as both a parasite and a saprobe) and is a cause of white rot.
Growing on the root of a dead willow oak tree in a back yard habitat.
