Northern Mockingbird

Mimus polyglottos

Description:

It is very interesting to watch this bird fly. There are flashes of white on its wings and the flight pattern is incredible!

Habitat:

The second picture is in my neighbor's yard, and the first is across the street on a sign next to a field.

Notes:

I'd like to point out that I find it kind of ironic that the mockingbird was perched above a "Kaw Avenue" sign in the first photo.
