Arundinicola leucocephala
Arundinicola leucocephala is a small bird measuring from 12-13cm and and weighs 10 to 16 grammes. the difference between male and female is very easy to do. the male get white head with deep black plumage and the female is gray with white face. they live as a couple and are both taking care of the nest which is always build in branch above the water. Each clutch contains 2 or 3 eggs. From what i saw they eat small insects , seeds and fruits and it's possible to see them all day.
Arundinicola leucocephala can be seen all over the south america. They especially appreciate humid and swampy area.
It's not easy to approach them but their flight distance is small

Me too, Josh! This is an Awesome bird, Congrats on the SOTD!
This is a beautiful series. Can you say something more about the habitat in the spotting itself, in the habitat box? By "road of guatemala" does that mean [along] a "bad road"? Thanks
