Description:

Pear-shaped Leucauge or Long-jawed Orb Weaver (Opadometa fastigata Simon 1877; Tetragnathidae, the Big-Jawed Spiders). These are orb web builders in shaded vegetation in forests. Also called Humped Silver Spider.

Habitat:

Makiling Botanic Gardens, a forest park of the Mt. Makiling Center for Mountain Ecosystems (adjacent or within the UPLB-College of Forestry and Natural Resources), University of the Philippines at Los Baños, Laguna.
