These birds are part of the tern family and favours elevated cliffs at sea for nesting, occasionally in short trees or shrubs. The female only lays one egg per season so the nest needs to be hidden away from any predators.
seen at St Giles Island Tobago which is an uninhabited protected Island due to its colonies of sea birds.
