I spotted this on the outside wall of el refugio in Chicaque natural park. It was my first spotting of my Colombia trip.

According to learnaboutbutterflies.com, "Euglyphis is a massive genus comprising of 344 known species, many of which are very similar in appearance and can only reliably be distinguished by microscopic examination of the genitalia or DNA analysis. The genus is confined to Central and South America."

Please, verify! I would say E. submarginalis if the line on the forewing about the reniform spot was horizontally oriented, as opposed to diagonal.
