Leaf beetle

Ditropidus sp.

Description:

A small leaf beetle in the subfamily cryptocephalinae. They have a 'hidden' head because it is oriented downwards. This specimen has ribbed elytra and a thick brown band. Dimorphism is known in this group so the second specimen is presumably the female.

Habitat:
