Common spotted orchid

Dactylorhiza fuchsii

Description:

A commonly occuring species of Eurosiberian Orchid. The flower colour can vary from white to pale purple with purple spots, Usually flowering from June to August. Can grow anywhere from 15 to 60cm in height.

Habitat:

found in Low common meadows, owned by the Yorkshire wildlife trust.
