You're right, gully. The fibrous remnants remind me of Coprinellus domesticus, but there are a couple more species in this group that look very much alike. Fantastic detailed shots, by the way! I love the natural lighting. A great way to recap your ID's. If you want to have it complete, you should have a shot of the base of the stipe. Some Coprinellus and Coprinopsis have 'hairy feet', which is a good identification mark, just like Amanitas should be photographed in its whole aswell.

Well it's not a Mica cap because it lacks the mica! Sparkly granular dots which are remnants of a universal veil. This universal veil is much more fibrous. It is likely another Coprinellus species or perhaps Coprinopsis.

This looks like the Mica cap (Corpinellus micaceus)
