Vine Hawk Moth

Hippotion cf. rosetta

Description:

According to The Sphingidae of Southeast-Asia: "There is a general problem of differentiating records for Hippotion boerhaviae and Hippotion rosetta as the two species are almost indistinguishable and were treated as one species for a long time. Thus, older records particularly could refer to either."

Habitat:

Backyard.
