Theages decora

Description:

There are 6 Theages species, all of which are neotropical in distribution. They are characterised by having marbled wings with dark veins, and their abdomens are tipped with orange. Most species also have a pair of small orange spots behind the head. Theages decoram is distributed from Guatemala to Peru and south-east Brazil.

Habitat:

This species is found in rainforest and cloudforest at elevations between about 400-2000m.

I did a research about the correct name. It seems that we have a conflict. EOL and Bold, usually reliable and trustable resource have it as Eucereon and according to Ollerenshaw 2011 it is Theages.

I do not know which one is no the correct one, I guess it is Theages decorata, since this is the most recently updated. Sometimes it takes quite a longtime for updating such huge databases like EOL and BOLD. I will leave a comment on the EOL page that they check the names once more.
