Hasora chromus chromus

Description:

Called the Common Banded Awl, Hasora chromus chromus Cramer 1782 (Hesperiidae; Coeliadinae). H. c. chromus is the ssp. occurring in Luzon and the many other Philippine islands.

Habitat:

Spotted mudpuddling along the bank of a stream traversing the Binictican forest trail located in Subic Bay Freeport Zone, Hermosa Bataan.
