Gold leaf lichen?

Description:

A small patch of very bright yellow about 50mm wide. On very close examination it revealed tiny holes in the leaves a little like retiporus lichen.

Habitat:

In a very dark and wet area of a rainforest nature reserve on the trunk of a large nothofagus.
