Unusually for this species. The smooth barked Eucalyptus tree has dimples in its bark. The spiders have covered some of the dimples with a webbing net and hide beneath it (image three). I could not tell if they were using it as a hunting hide or not. There were a considerable number of these on two of the trees

I think your spider is not as lanky as Helpis minitabunda. The color pattern seems a bit different as well.
