Spotting

Description:

Small bracket-like fungi with rubbery texture. Smooth surface. Yellowish-brown and white (with bluish hue) in colour. Growing on decaying log amongst ferns and leaf litter from red cedars and bunya pines. Area well-shaded and moist.

Habitat:

No problem. That's SE Qld cold, not Switzerland cold. Big difference. Anyway, the day I was there it was 22C and sunny, so that's not too bad for a winter's day.

Finally! Have you been there, Daniele? I'm so glad I went. A very unique place that really deserves a few days stay. Being the child that I am, I want to climb that fig tree I found. Next trip soon :-) ps: I'll probably be on the evening news when I get stuck in the damn thing.
