Satyr Angelwing butterfly. Wings are ragged. Bright tawny-golden above with black blotches.

Habitat:

This satyr angelwing butterfly was spotted on a wooded path at our county park in Millersville, Maryland. If you look closely, you will see that this poor little butterfly has been through a lot. But, it was still flying.
