Female Adult Bluebird #1

Description:

Adult female, Blue on tail and lower wings, White belly and undertail, Orange throat, Body held upright. The Eastern Bluebird is a small thrush with a big, rounded head, large eye, plump body, and alert posture. The wings are long, but the tail and legs are fairly short. The bill is short and straight. - Source Cornell Lab of Ornithology at http://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/easte...

Habitat:

Eastern USA.

Notes:

I saw 3 of these females flying past my window, then saw all three perch on different things in my front yard. One found the trellis netting comfy for a bit, one found the Shepard's Hook then tent/awning frame, while the third preferred the tent/awning frame then the ground. About 5 minutes later, the male bluebird showed up.
