Broad-banded Water Snake

Nerodia fasciata confluens

Description:

Strangest looking broad band I've ever seen. Has the black dorsal color with yellow markings that are really spread out rather than being in bands. He was beautiful!

Habitat:

Crossing the road in a wetland at night.
