Crab Spider

Description:

About 5mm long.

Habitat:

Spotted on goldenrod bordering an open field and wetlands.

Notes:

The interesting thing about this spotting is that I thought I was capturing a hover fly at first. I took the photos and was surprised that hover fly didn't move. That seemed odd. It wasn't until today, after cropping the picture, that I noticed the tiny crab spider had paralyzed the fly.
