Description:

Commonly called the Wallacean, Zethera pimplea pimplea Erichson 1834 (Nymphalidae; Satyrinae). This is the male form of the species. A Philippine endemic species with distribution only in the islands of the Luzon region.

Habitat:

Spotted along the bank of a stream traversing the Binictican forest trail located in Subic Bay Freeport Zone, Hermosa Bataan.
