This moth is about 2.5 inches round or more.
Tropical dry forest in NW Costa Rica half way through the six month dry season.
Cave! There is a Castniomera drucei (which is yours) and there is another one: Castniomera atymnius futilis, which is identical besides the brown area on the hindwing. Yours is orange, which means Drucei.
