Persectania ewingii

Description:

A silky streaky moth with shades of grey white and brown. Wing span was about 40 mm and wings showed jagged patterns. Thorax was covered with thick soft grey setae.

Habitat:

Spotted under bright lights near national park.

Notes:

Considered an agricultural pest because larvae feed on barley, peas and flax.
Family: Noctuidae Subfamily: Hadeninae
