Marasmius elegans
A cluster of mushrooms ( largest being about 30mm wide) growing in damp soil. The caps were velvety and red-orange with the colour blotchy in parts. Margins were with wavy. some of the caps appeared slightly inwardly curled but were not dry. the stipe was slightly"furry" pale near the cap, becoming increasingly dark red towards the base. Gills were white and forked ( Pic #5)

They were quite sturdy despite their appearance.
