Looks a little like Gomphidius subroseus as well.... though that would be rare in this part of Canada..
Possibly Lactarius rufus, red hot milk cap.
Check out the genus Lactarius, think they could fall somewhere in there.
Definitely in the Hygrophoraceae family, thinking Hygrocybe conica or maybe Hygrocybe chlorophana.

I think it is Russula emetica.... someone suggested that for my spotting. I did a little research on it and it seems to fit the ID.
