Prairie Builders Schools

Prairie Builders Schools is an innovative program by the Katy Prairie Conservancy whose aim is to build schoolyard pocket prairies and to use prairies as an integrative educational resources. Students at each Prairie Builder School is highly encouraged to take photos of living organisms in their prairies for identification. Once you know the identity of a animal (including insects and spiders) or plant (including wildflowers and grasses) you can start to learn some of their amazing stories!
