Mission Description
Many grasshopper species have specific habitat requirements. Populations of some species have declined markedly in the last several decades, so documenting where relic populations are is a valuable exercise.
Mission Instructions
From plains to peaks, grasshoppers occupy a variety of habitats throughout Colorado. Their populations are spotty, so documenting their diversity can shed light on changes in habitat quality over time.
